1.  Sandy Eller class of 1958 spoke on the Class of 1958's 50th reunion.  They
used the Viscount Hotel as their headquarters for the reunion.  The reunion was
Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The hospitality room at the Viscount opened at 10:
00 Friday morning for early arrivals.

    •        Their Friday night mixer party was held at Rosario's Restaurant at the
Viscount.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, Cokes, and sundaes were served.  Alums
were invited to dress in 50s dress.

    •        They used a hospitality room all 3 days and people brought
memorabilia to put on boards that were placed in the room for that purpose.

    •        Saturday there was a tour of Catalina.

    •        The Saturday night dinner was held at Tucson Country Club.

    •        Sunday morning there was a breakfast in the Atrium at the Viscount.
There was a charge for the breakfast.

deceased classmates. The names were read aloud.

2.  Venue for Saturday night dinner

A committee was selected to visit possible venues:  Nina, Glenda, Toni and
Wallis. It was agreed that the best case scenario, if possible, was to have a
    ll events at one place.

3.  Music/entertainment for dinner event

Music will depend on location of dinner.  Decision for music will be dec
    ided at the September meeting

4.  Day 2 event

Day 2 events for early Saturday morning or afternoon.  It was decided that
whoever suggested an activity for this time period would be asked to be
the contact person for that activity and they would organize it.  We would
advertise it on the Web site and people could sign up on the site.

    Poker:  Joanne Russo Lovett
Tour of CHS/downtown walking tour:  James Klein
Tour of Historical Society:   Emily Morrison
Murder Mystery at CHS:  Gail Vida Irvin

5.  Venue for lunch on day 3

The lunch for day 3 will be held at Nina Paris’ house at 1:00.  Tucson alums
    will provide food and drinks.

6.  Favors

We liked the idea of giving each alum a tote bag.  Helen Rupple will go to
Williams & Associates to get a price for them and took to look at other
favors that we might possibly purchase.  We decided that we didn’t want
the “standard” favors such as a wine glass, etc.

7.  Centerpieces for the tables at the Saturday dinner

Decision:  Nina will be in charge of simple centerpieces.

8.  Readable name tags.

Terri Waters will report on tags at the September meeting.

9.  Underwriters

Try to secure $5,000.00; at the September 2009 meeting this group will put
together a list of names of possible underwriters for Amanda to contact.

Leslie will contact Amanda regarding how she suggests we go about this.

10.  Bio Boards

Nothing to report at this time.

11.  Searching for classmates

Terri will contact Ed Dooley asap to get started on this project.

12.  Reunion update book which will include photographs of all reunion events
and be mailed out after the reunion

Mary Lynn Weaver and Lynn Fuller are working on this.  Wallis will contact
them to see how it’s progressing.

13.  Greeters/those who register classmates at various events

Reunion planning members will register alums and will be greeters at each
    event.

14.  Report from Dave Berg re: tracking down former CHS teachers who will be
invited to the dinner; possible lettermen’s breakfast for day 2

    Tabled.

15.  Financial report

We currently have $2,133.96 in the account.

16.  The CHS Web site.

With regard to the Web site that Catalina High School monitors, Leslie will
call Amanda and ask her to contact Catalina and ask them to add a link to
their site that would refer class of 60 alums to our Web site.

The next meeting will be held on at 1:00 p.m., September 12, 2009 at the home of
